How to Prepare Sun-Dried into Gel form
What you’ll need:
• Survival Moss sun-dried sea moss
• Filtered water
• Blender
• Bowl & strainer
• Fresh lime or lemon juice
Step 1:
Measure & Soak (Overnight)
Take one handful of sun-dried sea moss (it expands quite a bit). Place it in a bowl and fill completely with filtered water, making sure the moss is fully submerged. Cover and soak overnight in the refrigerator (8-12 hours).
Tip: Always use more water than you think - the moss needs room to expand.
Step 2:
Drain & Clean
In the morning, drain the soaking water.
Refill the bowl with fresh filtered water and gently agitate the moss with your hands, then drain. Repeat this process as many times as needed until the water runs clear and the moss feels clean.
This step is key for achieving the best taste.
Step 3:
Blend into Gel
Transfer the cleaned sea moss to a blender.
Add a small amount of filtered water to start. Add 1-2 tablespoons of fresh lemon or lime juice - this helps preserve naturally and keeps the flavor very neutral. Blend, slowly adding water as needed, until you reach your preferred consistency.
I recommend a smooth, thick, creamy gel - spoonable, not watery.
Step 4:
Store & Enjoy
Pour the gel into a clean, airtight glass jar.
• Refrigerate for up to 4 weeks
• Freeze for up to 4 months (great for portioning).

Add to smoothies, teas, soups, oatmeal, or juices - or enjoy by the spoon.
